Oasis Consulting, LLC was founded by Arlene M. Soto, CMA, CGBP as a retirement business after she spent nearly 27 years as a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Director. She received her BS in Accounting from Portland State University in 1983 and her MS Management from Marylhurst University in 1988. In 1993 she became a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). In 2013 she became a NASBITE International Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP). Ms. Soto worked with over 5,000 small businesses in her SBDC career helping them answer business questions and access business resources.

Oasis Consulting, LLC was started August 1, 2021. Arlene M. Soto has worked in business accounting and management since 1977. For nearly 27 years she was a Small Business Development Center director in both Wyoming and Oregon.
